Dunfey Memorial Juried Show at the Lincoln Levy Gallery in Porstmouth this month of November 2013

Got accepted in the Dunfey Memorial Juried Exhibit in Portsmouth. Hsiu Norcott and Ellen Friel were accepted too. I heard they only took 55 paintings out of 208 entries...we are lucky!

The Opening Reception is scheduled for this Friday, November 
1 from 5 - 8 pm

Greeley park in Nashua 2013

For the 60th anniversary of the Greeley park art show we were blessed with a gorgeous weather and lots of friends and customers who came back to see us!

 I won first prize for my painting of Hsiu in the oil category!

The Copley Society of Art has recently established the “Award of Merit” for small works that are of exceptional quality and skill. Chosen by the Copley Society Art Committee, outstanding Small Works will be acknowledged based on the professionalism of presentation, technique, composition, and style. Receiving 3 Awards of Merit from Small Works shows will be the equivalent of being selected for one juried show, and will therefore be beneficial to artists interested in advancing from Associate to Full Artist Member, or from Full Artist Member to the esteemed“Copley Artist.” Awards are given out quarterly, before the opening of each new Small Works exhibit.
