My figure ladies are going all over the place
The first one, "Ann and hat " went to the Whistler Museum of Art yesterday, for the Holiday juried exhibit, the Lady at the window and the Lady in Blue went to the Copley in Newbury street Boston for the Holiday show also( with two other ones) and the LAdy in Red went to the Grace Chapel Gallery for the Exhibit"Red"
Needless to say I spent the whole day driving from Hollis to Lowell to Boston and Lexington with a wonderful visit spent with my friend Debbie Orloff, at the Boston Seaport where she works..We did catch up on many events of our lives and she is now the owner of my painting which was exhibited at the Copley!!!! thank you Debbie for giving my painting a new home!Ann and hat

Painted a few years ago, this painting celebrates the parties of Liz and Madeline in Portsmouth town  which you can see in the background. I added some imaginary people from the Italian Commedia to add to the merriment and joy of the event, some music, some animals and the famous Venitian arches, tapestries from Medieval times and Oriental carpet designs, and tiles from the palaces I love...
